the story is good, there’s just no Mary Sues who’s magically get their way every single time so you have to wait longer for everything to fall into place
I read it bc of this comment and I agree! Its a pretty good story! I don’t see why people are upset, it stayed interesting the whole way through and each character has a reasonable arc. The parts missing weren’t that big as the details were heavily implied and unimportant but they could have extended the story to show more of the background and world building, though the key parts were the time the charaters spent together in the past which was shown
