Idk i feel like siyun is pretending to not know jeongmin because he wants to protect her because he still very clearly loves her and so as time passed he realizes he doesn’t need to be so violent and protective he learns to be better (if that makes sense or maybe thats just want i want to believe but i really hope it turns out that way
