THIS MANHWA IS SO GOOD OH MY GOD ITS PEAKKKK. I LOVE IT SM I'M SO ATTACHED TO THE CHARACTERS IVE REREAD THIS LIKE 7 TIMES AND IT STILL HITS DIFFERENT. It's slow-burn bc there's a love triangle happening and it takes a while for the main character to get her a bit together but ITS WORTH ITTT. At first I hated Seju for cheating on Sumin (although I don't really think it counts as cheating bc I believe she was drunk but I don't remember. Idk if it counts as sexual abuse.) but as the story goes on you can't help but feel bad because Seju gets DESPERATE to bring Sumin back into her life like she gets so bad it's almost pathetic but I started to like her because I could see that Seju was creating problems out of her love and obsession for Sumin, and now I'm a certified Baek Seju truther and supporter. I love Sungji too, how she struggles to navigate her relagionship with Sumin since she's really young and Sumin is like... 10 years older than her. Sungji took a lot of Sumin's bullshit because she was naive and thought that since she loved Sumin it meant that she needed to accept her lies even thought it was hurting her relationship with her, and how she reached a breaking point that she got out of Sumin's life for her own good since she was in denial about how Sumin was playing around with her feelings. She made her choice to stop taking Sumin's disrespectful ass behaviour and stood up for herself, and that was enough to make Sumin get her shit together and come to the realization that she was hung up in the ghosts of her past, that she was no better than Seju (since she was doing the same shit that Seju did to her.) and that she truly loved Sungji.I LOVEEEE how she realized it too late because by the time she had that self discovery Sungji distanced herself and didn't want anything to do with her. Sumin acting like a pathetic wet cat ensues.
