It's not as bad as most of the comments make it out to be

Wow... the comments on this one are quite... critical. I guess I'm one of the minority who liked the story. It's not amazing or revolutionary, but it was still interesting nonetheless ^^"

Stories nowadays are way too similar, so a bit of change or twist is already a welcome addition. I enjoyed the whole positive twist to the slavery setting & I also liked how there's a tiny bit of exploration in the mc's background of being a rare breed and his past life.

In my opinion, this is enough to win me since I've read way too many simplistic, mind-numbing, copy-paste stories with school life setting, villainess dying plot, dad and daughter story, rivalry, childhood friends, etc etc., so a story that tries to make some sort of special setting to stand out from the crowd is enough for me to like it xD

In the future, I'll most likely forget most of the villainess and school-life stories I've read since they'll just merge together in my shitty memory, but this one will most likely stand out for a bit longer since there are unique elements that will help me remember it.

Well- to end my rambling, I just wanted to show my appreciation to the story since there are too many negative comments so far. Nothing against those types of comments tho (I enjoy seeing others express themselves in any way; whether it is a good or bad thing) since it is still interesting to see people's perspective and opinions, but I just wanted to add some balance to the mix xD

No I completely get you. To me this was one of the first ones where slavery wasn't put in such a negative spotlight, where guys get to serve the princes due to the rule (like how concubines need to stay with their own gender etc) and they get paid well and also opportunities in the future (ie like that other guy)

It was also an interesting angle with our main prince too, a man who didn't desire the throne, (all of them had their own desires but were very harmonious) and instead had pursued something that's more commoner-like haha

The rare breed thing was also super interesting to see too.

Although there's always room for improvement, the ideas put forth have had their time to grow and portray themselves as something more unique out there.

i also enjoyed the unique angle it took on the isekai aspect! many stories have no explanation when a character transmigrates into a new body, no mention of the original soul or how the new soul got there, but this one gives it an interesting twist. i loved the dynamic between the two souls, and the scene where they merged was impactful. you're right, this story isn't necessarily mindblowing, but it has some great features.

    Thanks for sharing!!

Now that you mention it, concubines wouldve been a better and closer term, but playing with the slave aspect means that they aren't strictly tied for life towards the prince they serve, so it still makes sense.

Also it's good that you mentioned the prince! Sadly, the author didn't explore his story too deeply, but I guess it was enough for us to understand his character. His type of character is indeed quite uncommon, and would've been a great story in itself xD

Lastly, I agree that this story could definitely be improved, but like you said, the ideas had time to shine. It would be amazing if the author develops further since they do have some creative ideas to write an interesting setting.

That's true! Perhaps the author had the same issue with many of the isekai stories, so they made sure to explore that area in this story? Hopefully more people explore the different possibilities with story gaps like that, just like how this story did, since small things like that does add a bit of uniqueness to the story.

Right right!! Especially the angle that they took to say that how the original soul felt and that ended up pulling the "reincarnated soul" from the future into the current body. Like that was an interesting aspect too!

Not only on top of that how the two also had to meld memories and how the isekaied soul wanted to at least find out what happened to the original host to get into such a predicament!
