More like she's a woman and people just hate on her for it. She starts out needing help and is learning to stand up for herself etc

I hate how people did a 180 with women, women were constantly victims in stories and so now they are demanded to be bad ass but not every woman starts out as bad ass but rather victims. People hate on Cinderella for being a victim and not being strong but she IS strong she's just doesn't have that man strength. Giving women make characteristics doesn't make them bad ass women. Ellen Tipley and Cinderella are different type of strength.
Cinderella is a horrible example. Her reward for having a miserable life is being picked by a guy for her looks ONLY, who ends up not remembering her, doesn't recognize her and who met her a couple of times, period. She's only valued for what she has to offer others: labour or looks. I wonder if she even knows who tf she is or what she's about
