just casually thinking about how oikawa didn’t have the chance to see his (probably only) baby growing up & will probably have this condition forever. i wonder how he dealt with the feeling of loss & missing out. he implied that he kept sleeping for 2/3 years straight with waking up once in a while. that means he missed out on basically everything in his life during that time. him not recognising iwaizumi & him saying it has been 10 years since they practically met are pretty appalling. i would love to see more on this detail. him saying he woke up to a nightmare is a metaphor to saying everything changed when he woke up. he is no longer in his 20s. iwaizumi is older, his daughter is big. that’s actually so sad.
