Stockholm Syndrome (I almost wrote 'Sherlock' instead of Stockholm FML)? The saving grace/...

Stockholm Syndrome (I almost wrote 'Sherlock' instead of Stockholm FML)? The saving grace/s of this manga are: art & the fact that the uke wasn't forced into prostitution. The art is gorgeous, although I dislike the doe-eyed, girly design for the uke. Sure, the big eyes can be attributed to youth... Which leads to another possible problem for me. *cough* Pedophilia. The other characters are fine, I guess.

While the uke wasn't forced to service other men, I feel that the repeated rape was a bit much... Even if it was to show how emotionally inept the seme was. Once is okay, for plot. Twice is pushing the envelope. Rape is a tasteless plot mover, imho, and rape didn't even do anything for the plot. If the seme had just listened to what the uke was trying to say, we would've gotten a fluffy story instead, but nooooo. We just had to get a trying to be angsty but turned into a slightly confusing story.

To be fair though, I am always a sucker for historical & family drama types of stories and I believe that this story had potential; however, I think the author focused on the wrong things and didn't pay enough attention to the story-telling. Hence, it came out choppy and forced.(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Rant done. Still like the art though.
