What is fun and enjoyable about this manhwa ? To me this is plain psychological torture. (So yeah i stopped reading!) _ i just don't get how this type of story is fun and interesting ? How is this enjoyable ? Probably for masochistic and saddistic people ? ?
I agree. Dan's love for jk feels so forced, it happened out of nowhere. I don't understand what the author's trying to do with those two
I don’t think the love is forced, but it’s definitely toxic. I think Dan started to fall for JK because he would do something out of character right after being mean to Dan. It’s just manipulative. Dan thinks that he is special to him in those rare moments where JK is kind to him. I carry on reading even tho it’s annoying because same author did this in Bj Alex too. The angst, revenge and regret is portrayed so well there. Also the character development is written so good. So im expecting the same from this manhwa.
I am wondering, maybe it is fun to see Dan whoring himself when he does not have the personnality for it ?? He is such a white goose, so naïve and '' so pure '' yet he is becoming someone's bitch so is that ironically comedic or something ?
Thank you for your explanation of why someone would like BJ Alex. I personnally really liked Painter of the Night for the same type of reason probably. (As well as My Suha side story) i liked that the outcome is different according to the personnality of both characters.

This. I'm reading this for Jk's regretting-everything-part, the author did a very good job in writing that part of the story for Bj Alex so I'm hoping the same for Jinx too.

Dan's love for JK came out of left field. I get that JK visited his grandmother and paid for her treatments, and that definitely creates feelings of gratitude, but JK still hasn't improved his treatment of him and has even gotten worse because of dieting and his shoulder. So Dan going from feeling genuine fear to falling in love, makes him feel more like a writer's prop than a character to me, especially since he's almost 30 years old. Maybe that's what creates the lack of chemistry between the main couple and the reader's difficulty to relate to Dan . If the ML is going to be cruel the bottom should be resilient, and I don't mean bratty, just more pragmatic. That's what creates chemistry. Anyway, it's a fun and enjoyable manhwa, don't get me wrong, with great art and plot, but definitely, at least for now, inferior to BJ Alex.
