Cain knew jooin was broken and used that to sneak his way him. He took advantage of jooins heartbreak, I wish he ended up with Yahwi. From context clues, mim guessing there’s gonna be a time skip and maybe he’s gonna end up with Cain. Plus everyone is team Cain so the author has to take that into consideration too.
wait i'm confused why do you think cain was doing it for selfish reasons? i thought most of what cain did was motivated by just being in love with jooin and wanting to be with him and all that stuff. also out of jealousy a little bit from yahwi but i didn't get the feeling that he was doing it bc he's manipulative? also what do you mean cain made himself look like a person to lean on?? wasn't he actually? i'm so confused genuinely what also i'm not being rude or anything i actually wanna know if i missed some things
Being motivated by the past can be a selfish reason. Cain wanted Jooin for his own selfish reasons and didn’t care to think about Jooins life before he entered. Nor did he care about himself or his life back before he met Jooin again. It’s not bad to want someone for selfish reasons, Cain wanted Jooin because he was his past owner. Love can make you blind and he was selfish, but they were all. He fell in love with him and wanted to be with him forever. Cain did care about how Jooin was feeling but was constantly yearning for an answer almost everyday, even though he knew how much pain Jooin was facing. That’s selfish. He only wanted Jooin and Jooin to only want him. He compared himself to Yahwi and said that he can treat him better, which is true, but it wasn’t but Jooin needed at the moment. Which again is selfish. If Cain never came, Jooin and Yahwi’s relationship might have had more hope. When Jooin was depressed and heartbroken, Cain was there for him. As that continued, Cain used Jooins pain to try and get closer to him. He knew Jooin was vulnerable and found a way to get through him. But is that necessary bad? No not at all, but he could’ve had a better approach to where it didn’t hurt everyone in the process. I find it weird however, through the whole story Jooin never seemed to like Cain romantically, I just don’t get why the author changed it. I think in the beginning the author planned to make Jooin and Yahwi endgame but with forward thinking she started changing her mind through the whole process. Which lead to such a dragged out story.
hmm yeah i see what you mean tbh that makes sense now thanks for explaining. but imo i think yahwi and jooin were doomed from the start like esp after yahwi slapped him i was like ohhhhh...there's no coming back from this lol even tho yahwi had some character development it still didn't work out. and yeah idk i feel like jooin just started liking cain bc cain was showing feelings towards him, but at first jooin just seemed more friendly towards cain instead of being romantically interested in cain. the author didn't really show the process of why jooin started liking cain so it just comes off as so random. that's why i honestly think neither of them belong together i want all three of them to move on and find other people.
I can understand y ppl don’t like Jooin bc of his indecisiveness and how it hurt the ppl around him. But personally, I don’t like Cain the most because he took advantage of Jooin’s heartbreak for Yahwi. If it weren’t for him, Jooin may have been able to firmly decide on what to do with Yahwi.
When ppl r going thru heartbreak, they need someone to lean on and Cain made himself look like that for him. But he was only out for his own selfish reasons too. Of course Jooin was indecisive bc he felt bad for taking advantage of Cain EVEN THO CAIN TOLD HIM TOO!! Not to mention Cain kept ignoring his boundaries pushing him to go further.
Jooin had no where to think too! So of course he’d keep running away from these guys! Yeesh let the man get up!
I mean at least we know that Yahwi is a shitty selfish person but so was Cain. And Cain was unhelpful and worsened the situation. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)
