the only part that i don’t like about the story is how he literally raised the kid, and the kid then developed feelings for him. obviously they had to come up with something so it would make sense, so they become lovers but it just feels kinda forced and unnatural
even tho i don’t like it, i wouldn’t know an alternative myself, still

Hyo wasn't a kid though he was a dragon who was wondering around for a bit he didn't know what form or shape to take. So when he saw the kid then chose that form to try and communicate with the humans.

It’s not ab if he was a kid or not tho it’s that Tae saw him in his eyes and mind as a child that he raised it’s kind of weird for u to raise someone then bang them

Honestly same like I get that this was how the author wanted to explain how they came to develop this deep bond between the two of them but the whole meeting while Hyo Un was a child and having Tae Hyuk basically raising him ( and don't come at me with the whole oh but he wasn't really a child bs I don't care point is Tae took him in as child or at least what he thought was a child and it's weird that he would entertain Hyo's feelings for him when he was treating him like his son not long ago) wasn't necessary like they didn't have to make Hyo Un behave and look like a child. Imo they could've just shown Hyoun beaten down and hopeless (as a grown ass man) and have Tae stumble upon him and help him or maybe just just maybe not have Tae accept to have sex with Hyo Un and their relationship in the past just being a tragic one sided love that ended in disaster like it would've been soo easy not to make this weird but here we are

exactly, it really felt like the author just went with the stereotypical plot, because i have read so many similar versions of “he disguised himself as a kid and ended up fucking the main character when he was older”
