If he didn't get sick, it would be truly over. End of romance. The other guy was so warm-hearted and sincere and was so willing to be the father of FL's baby. I was hoping he would be the guy at the end of the story. When the last panel showed a tombstone, I thought the ML died, and I was glad , but unfortunately it was their dead baby. But wait, didn't she miscarry ? I thought it would just be all blood or something. IDK.
