I’m not going to be quick to say him throw in the pit of hell. But also I’m not going to give him a free pass. Yes rape sucks (speaking as a SV survivor) and the trauma mentally, emotionally and physically is ENORMOUS but this doesn’t give you ok or make it ok to be a rapist yourself. I guess the author was trying to navigate through the complexity of this (b/c there are survivors who become assaulters themselves) but I can already tell this is going to be handled half-ass and just a “bridge” for the bdsm route b/c they couldn’t find a better and/or organic way to introduce it. They should’ve aged the younger brother up without the need for csv.
This long winded up but all in all I’m leaning more towards dropping the story due to this setup unless it actual is handled better in the upcoming chapters.
