I recently read "Living no Matsunaga-san", "The Galaxy Next Door", and "3 AM Dangerous Zone" and enjoyed them all! I really like stories that are unusual or break conventions (like a high school girl living w/ strangers in a sharehouse, a manga enthusiast who's actually an alien, a yakuza daughter who wants to be a teacher, etc.). There is SO MUCH out there though and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'd be grateful for a few of your thoughtful recommendations.
Qualities of stories I like: + honestly not looking for much smut (although some sexy payoff in a slow-burn romance isn't bad!) + the romance is balanced well with other aspects of the story + not too many chapters (for now I'm still wetting my feet in the genre, so stories w/ less than 30 chapters are preferred)
