still can’t get over how deeply gojo cared for others, he had multiple opportunities to end everything, literally annihilate everyone but he chose not to, to protect his students and his vision for their future, his emotions became his undoing, he never got over any relationship, everyone held a special place in his heart, his heaven is just a normal day with the people he cherished, he wanted such simple things but being burdened with being the strongest was the biggest contradiction to who he was at the root, a very emotional and fragile person ironically. he didn’t need to take megumi in but he chose to, he didn’t need to necessarily mentor yuji but he chose to, he didn’t have to do a lot of the things that lead him to sacrificing himself, so he might come across as inconsiderate because he literally doesn’t know anything besides being strong, geto was naturally depressed being a teenager and forced to work missions/ and watching ur friends die, while gojo remained unaffected because of the vast difference in ability. but again a lot of it was due to ignorance more than anything, not being able to understand the other persons experience.
yuuji is somehow the same way as him, yuuji is not the character foil but a direct reflection of the emotional depth he shares w gojo. you can really see how he’s similar with how deeply he cares for megumi, and the others.
