I mean, that wasn't from an official en translation I think, so it's possible that the one we're reading is mtl with human editor
I also felt that it was kinda iffy on how they spell or name their characters or organizations. Take for example, in C115 where the org was named as 'Darkness', when the one i've used to read in the novel was 'Arm'
The novel you read was most likely the fan translated one. It's not wrong, but from what I know the official English translation of the web toon calls them darkness. And I do believe the translator of the web toon have announced they are just keeping to the official naming. But I do understand that it feels weird after coming from reading the novel
Is it just me or the translation often have a very different meaning from novel.. for instance when they are talking about blood to fight back the dead mana, it was translated that they (choi han, rosalyn, and lock) doesn't believe the kittens while in the novel they actually does't believe Cale.
