I’m not a fan of stories where the MC is a damsel in distress and can’t escape situations without assistance from a ML, but I also don’t prefer it when the MC does all the saving. I hope the Duke recognizes the authority and power that comes with his name and becomes comfortable utilizing it. Being a teddy bear is fine but being a doormat is not.
