this is a dumb question 45 chapters in, but how do you guys pronounce "Dan"? how is it supposed to be pronounced? is it like "thaan" ('th' sounding like "The") or is it "Dan" like the short form of Daniel?

Since it's a Korean name in this case it should be pronounced kinda the same way as the word "done".

Technically in Korean his name would be pronounced with a T sound that almost sounds like a D (like tan but a little softer t pronunciation) but since its the english translation it makes more sense to pronounce it like Dan

hm, so it's supposed to sound similar to "done" but with the 'th' sound instead of 'd'. i was pronouncing it kinda like that. but since dan has brown hair i was confused about if he was maybe half foreigner or something.

The D is definitely softer than it would be in English, but I wouldn't say it's th sound either. It's a soft D mixed with th sound. It's so difficult to explain XD
Koreans don't pop the D, but it also doesn't become a T in this case. "Dhone"
