Exactly! I was hoping it would get better because I like to believe in second chances but this dude is just a complete asshole. And then getting together in the end would never happen idealistically. The author needs help or needs to get a reality check because nobody should be romanticizing abusive relationships. Even BJ Alex was borderline a little toxic but he actually changed character.
