I sure hope whatever they meant by that isn't what I'm speculating. There's a few other signs I saw in the chapter that kinda points to Johnny getting turned in, but I think it'd just be better to wait til they reveal the truth

i think Callahan and his bet are still in action. so Johnny would get his money from Callahan bc he's innocent and then "buy" Callahan for that money if that makes sense. honestly idk i hope this story gets an official English at some point so we can compare these.
