I think he remembers because he shared his magic with her and received some of her’s in exchange so since their magic is kind of tied (though not in a way that’s effected Claire so far) it’s kind of like an immunity affect or a kind of dragging affect when it comes to the forces that brought Claire back to when she was 15, whatever the mechanics to it is it has to do with when he tried to mess with her magic and it backfired on him massively and Claire’s own magic
I like the twist but also hate it… I thought she would finally be happy but nah a whole new character and a dude that remembers what happened (like how-???) also vik doesn’t like her rn and ima cry also the bond she shared with them is forgotten by them even tho she and we remember they dont ahhhh i wish they remembered
