I also agree you should definitely read i! It didn’t end on a cliffhanger, so there won’t be any issues that went unresolved.
I just binge read it today and I would definitely recommend you read it. I was a bit concerned since it got dropped but the main couple storyline is completed in the 1st season in a satisfying manner
