it's bc he thinks it's all jus an impulsivity of youth, that he's better off with someone else rather than a 29 year old soul in a body of a 19 year old. ultimately, what's stopping myungha is his insecurity.

Yes I agree. I think his adult self is totally fighting his emotions and trying to be responsible and do the right thing.
That and he also doesn’t know how long he’ll be in this “simulation world” so he’s scared to get too involved
He dies in like 100 or so days so he probably doesnt want to break his heart
