Okay before I start giving my review of the latest chapters which also contain spoilers for those who haven’t seen them, I would like to ask is this manhua still ongoing? The raws looks like they haven’t been updated since 2023 on the official site. The artist looks like they made a post possibly saying that the story was almost done? And it looked like they were working on it, but that was still in 2023. I don’t know what’s going on with the story. Is it on hiatus?

So in my opinion, the Seme isn’t a bad guy at all. In the beginning, it’s easy to think this way. He looks heartless and cold when breaking up and saying harsh words once after the break up. I thought so too in the beginning. But the story does well in explaining his feelings and what happened. He truly has such a sad past as well as suffered and has endured and done so much for the mc both during their relationship and after. He never had to help the mc even after they broke up but he still did. He loves the mc. You see how much he really loved the mc and how much he did everything and let mc get away with whatever he wanted. Even when mc was drunk and kissed someone else, he didn’t break up over that. Even when mc acted childish and immature he always gave into him. The Seme also has some sort of illness. He had previous trauma due to his family and it didn’t help when mc’s accident added onto that. It’s hard not to break under such events.
The Seme did something sexual with someone else (I wouldn’t call it full on sex since they didn’t go all the way) and yes I’d be lying if I said the thought didn’t upset me- HOWEVER the mc and seme were broken up already and hearing about it from the other party tells me he was more so taken advantage of. The white haired doctor who did it with him, admitted the night it happened, the Seme was WASTED (aka drunk) and the doctor took advantage of that moment where he was at his worst when he was weak to make a move. Ngl i’d call the Seme a victim tbh.
The mc also had a sad past and suffered a lot as well. I think this story does well in showing how both of the characters suffered before meeting each other, while they were together, and when they weren’t together. Despite this they both love each other so much. Honestly anyone who says the Seme is a bad guy, either didn’t read all the chapters or is just lying cause of their own bias and grudge. The mc himself realized how immature he was during their relationship, both because of how he acted towards him as well as how he handled overall situations in general. He seemed to mature though and overcame those and accepted and understood the events that happened. He had hurt the Seme before in their relationship and only understood the weight of what he’d done after their relationship.
