For the most part if you stear clear of certain ones they aren't TOO bad. Viewfinder, Junjui Romantica, Caste Haven, 10 Count...those are all terrifying and should be avoided at ALL costs. I actually really enjoy the fights sometimes, make me giggle. But NEVER try to lighten the mood with a joke, a LOT of those people have NO sense of humor WHATSOEVER.
