The real villainess practically was left unscathe by everything and its soo hard to swallow. Like she killed ppl for vanity and twisted godcomplex entertainment and she practically didnt take responsibility for anything. Her “punishment” was more like karma due to her recent actions but no accountability whatsoever. I also love that they change this scene from the novel, with the princess not outright believing reeze’s slander and chose to still side with ruby. It made the unnecessary drama in this scene gone

I was curious how they'll make this scene because the princess was introduced earlier. In the novel, the princess was angry and was a b because she still hasn't met Edith so she only believed what Lize said + rumors. I like the changes because it shows already in this part how Edith is slowly becoming the main character. (Indicator of a main character is being targeted by the villains and being favored). Lize's reaction was satisfying
fr her reaction was more satisfying than in the novel. at first i thought that the princess would follow the ln plot of hating edith in the ball but good to know she didnt and was indeed tru to her character of being resolute.
Soooo i just finished reading the novel, and i noticed some parts don't exactly follow its flow... BUT IT'S ACTUALLY A GOOD THING. I love it! I look forward to this version more because i think they'll fix some of the parts in the novel that's a little questionable (plot holes?). Hopefully there's more "justice" in this compared to what happened in the novel (iykyk). I wasn't satisfied how the villainsss was punished. I want moreee
