Here's a quick explanation: Readers don't like it when at least one of the main couple isn't actually in a relationship with a certain side character in the story but continues to have sex with them.

It's not romantic, just some form of sexual engagement where the other is constantly begging for a label, and to add salt to the wound Chunwoo is straight up dogshit in sorting out his feelings for Taesoo. He doesn't wanna be with him but continues to have some weird attachment to him that he allows him to just fuck him outright with no feelings involved?? Honestly, he was just as garbagey when differentiating platonic love from romantic love when it came to Ho-in.

If you can't even get your shit straight and set boundaries with a guy you only have sex with for emotional attachment, who the fuck knows what you might do in a relationship? Of course, you'll get screwed over just like any other guy with no experience in handling their feelings.

Feel free to prove me wrong though, I'm open to hear what else I may have missed

How is chunwoo at fault? If my memory is correct it was Taesoo who couldn't put a label on their relationship and was using chunwoo just bcs he could release his frustration on him. Chunwoo was actually really in love with taesoo and when you get the attention from someone you deeply desire you won't leave them just because it's more logical. That fact made his approach to ho in messy, but when love is involved it always gets messy. Especially when you've never actually been in a proper relationship before. Yes I agree that he shouldn't have messed up and went to fuck taesoo when he already knew his feelings for ho in and that ho in was also into him. But cut him some slack, he was in love and it's always super hard to let go of that.. bad habits die hard

Exactly, that's why readers don't like him; he was too in love to see it coming, and even while spending time with Ho-in and slowly developing something for him he continued to let Taesoo do whatever he wanted. He saw it a little too late into the story, and if you look into one of the sex scenes he was no longer enjoying whatever they were doing. He wanted him out, wanted him far away, but couldn't bring himself to do so due to the fact that he was being too lenient.

He was blinded by love, yes? While the readers could be the same even then, a character like that is generally not taken very well. Many would argue that he's not at fault, but at the same time he was far too indecisive and letting his heart get the best of him to defend at most. Taesoo was a prick imo, and sex does not necessarily signify love so Eunwoo being too confused up until the later chapters was a huge red flag considering he should've made the decision much earlier. The fact that Taesoo STRUGGLED to put a label was already too clear to see.

Especially during the scene when Ho-in saw him making out with Taesoo, he should've let go the moment that shit was pulled. Anyone else in that situation would've been overcome by too much guilt to keep going ngl

Too many red flags, too much idiocy, and too many misunderstandings.

"Honestly, he should've been more rational"
