i feel like this honestly wouldve been less of a hot mess if the author was better at pacing and splitting the couples screentime. like why would you include so many couples and then give 95% of the screentime to just the main couple. i wanted to see more of hai-ge's storyline with his daughter and shitty boyfriend rather than watch yangyang and ye ting miscommunicate for the 100th time.
