Grandma was only used as a plot device, but she really is a good character and that chapter was heartbreaking. I'm really hope the plot is good and not just some Doc Dan gets kidnapped and raped again and Jeackjyung doing the bare minimum in saving him. That would be the cheapest of cheap plot devices.
