why are people always complaining about readers and their stereotypes for fictional characters in fictional stories that do enforce those stereotypes 99% of the time lol??
in the yaoi world, not the real world, they exist and are totally valid because in 90% of cases the smaller one bottoms, so readers will expect it to be that way (whether they actually are into cliché bottoms or not), just like reverse stories with buff bottoms are super obvious by the way they act and look, and mostly work because it's "reverse". nothing to reverse if the opposite doesn't exist.
it's especially ironic when a lot of stories, this one probably included, play with those stereotypes, which they couldn't do if readers didn't have those expectations.
so stop attacking the readers for assuming what is, in most cases, true, or for having their preferences. they have sex in multiple chapters, it's fair to not be into that with a dynamic one doesn't like. rl couples have nothing to do with yaoi stereotypes anyway..and ppl claiming all gays are switches in real life can argue that out with the actual real gay only tops and bottoms, not on this website under a webtoon.
i knew purple hair was gonna be the bottom (koreans webtoons y'all), i like his design as a bottom more too, seme's not so much, but ffs i wanted to have a black flag bottom for once!! the fact that the crazy murderer guy is the top is more cliché (and i suppose heteronormative) than expecting the smaller one to be the bottom lol
i feel like they just made an uke-ish seme for the sake of this not just being another psycho top story, but guess what, it still is!! even if the seme is cute and cries ╮(￣▽￣)╭
