I think the prev emperor plan to give the throne to his daughter or his daughter's husband. I guess their father notice how cruel the prince is, that he's afraid he's gonna hurt the citizens and not fit for the throne.
Look, dumb prince. You had NO ONE to rival the throne. Why must you put up this stupid fiasco for you to become an emperor? Like why? I see no fricking reason for you to do this though! Oh yeah, he reeked of superiority complex! (╬￣皿￣) anyways, I'm pretty sure all of this will eventually backfired on him. Cant wait to see the day the thing he treasured so much will crumble right in front of him!!
