I think this is one of the only common sense takes that aren’t just “waah Lyle no communication ash deserve better”

Just inform lyle my rut is coming closer. Is it that hard to say. It's not something that needs hiding. In omega verse alpha's rut and omega's heat is as normal as breathing.
When ash is clearly seeing it's making Lyle uncomfortable as he couldn't tell ash was in his prerut , instead of informing him, ash just told him to spend the night in his parent's house. Like how much of an idiot can u be , not having at least that much sense?????
ik its easy to get annoyed with Karlyle for never saying what he thibks but like!! Yall have seen his grandfather??? Lyle has been taught for so long that his thoughts dont matter, that its better to keep them to himself so as not to inconvenience others or make a situation more complicated. He's been made to feel like he has to temper and manage the reactions of those around him, so he tries to anticipate reactions and find explanation for behavior.
BUT HES TRYING. One thing i can really appreciate about Karlyle is that despite the way he was raised, he's honest. It can become so easy to start lying and just say what you know people want to hear. But, If you ask him a question, he will answer honestly even if it frustrates ot embarasses him.
Its Ash that pisses me off. He knows that Karlyle is a chronic overthinker and takes things at face value. Karlyle literally told him "i dont want to inconvenience you" and instead of explaining that he obviously does not want Lyle to move out... they just glossed over it when he initiated sex.
But, I suppose hes like... incapacitated now since hes very obviously in prerut or somthing... something he should very obviously communicate to Karlyle
