Leopard has a shit day following a fucked in the head Master and goes to his quarters to find his all dolled up pet crafting something for him.
He wants nothing to do with people, he’s pissed beyond anything he’s ever been before and suddenly he’s created by this sweet little thing holding up a saddle cushion she proudly hand stitched for him. She doesn’t speak, but she can make small breathy noises, and judging by the sound of her breath she’s pretty fucking proud of herself. Leopard cant even help himself before scooping her up and laying on his bed, hugging her tightly as he burries his face in her neck, inhaling her scent like it’s the best shit in the world. FL gives him a little nudge, trying to push him away so she can see if he’s ok but he simply shakes his head and takes in a deeper breath. “Just stay like this, I need it.” He grumbles in a spoiled way. FL lets out a small laugh and nuzzles him, petting his head, scratching behind his ears, kissing him all over. Leopard finally loosens up his hold on her and FL wiggles out, sitting up next to him with a concerned smile on her face. “Yeah I’m ok..” Leopard reassured her, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to her palm. He gives her palm a deep inhale and kisses it over and over. Fuck he’s addicted to her smell. “Wanna take a bubble bath and go for a picnic?” FL smiles big and runs off to bathroom, leaving Leopard alone in bed grinning like an idiot. He goes outside and asks a servant to get a picnic basket ready for when they come out of the bath. FL loves bathtime, he didn’t know what it was about it that made her so happy. Probably the bubbles, or the kisses he’d give her neck when he washed her back. The little compliments he mutter in her ear. They were innocent at first.. but he was starting to have a harder time hiding a certain excitement from her. Hopefully none of the maids tell her about nightly affairs.
OK BUT FROM HER POV.
IMAGINE HER REALIZING SHES CRUSHING ON HIM. she gets a maid who absolutely loves dressing her up. This maid is like low key a lil too into erotic novels and the second she feels FL is starting to develope feelings the maid is like “I think you’re in love” and at first FL is like “oh, I don’t think I’m worthy of his love. He’s so sweet and blah”. But the maid actually loves meddling so she pushes for it even tho she doesn’t actually have any love experience. she dresses FL in cute clothes and helps her seduce Leopard but leopard keeps holding back. AUGH ITS SO GOOD IM MAD THE POSSIBILITIES.
AND BEING A TERRITORIAL LEOPARD HE WOULDNT WANT BOYS AROUND HER SO SHED HAVE A FEMALE KNIGHT. CAN YOU FUCKING BELIEVE WE WERE ROBBED OF THIS.

Not to mention the preassure of having to help FL unlock her powers and her trying her best only to feel dejected. And Leopards comforts her but ML is low key an asshole and impatient about it. Leopard and ML have a few arguments with FL there and one of the times ML gets a little too tough with Leopard and FL stands in front of Leopard to block him from ML in her adorable defiance. Just a cute lil thing in a frilly dress and flowery ribbons waving in the wind, shielding her “master” from the ML. The ML is stupid but not heartless so he clicks his tongue and says some tsundere shit like “get your dog trained.” And walks off. Maybe ML sees FL and leopards baby and has a moment of weakness where he’s like “oh yeah… babies..” and protects them as a godfather. and you got Disney Princess mom with killer birds, Leopard dad with killer imstinct(fuck the mace concept), and Godfather ML with a murder streak. Boom. Unbeatable wholesome story.

What the fuxk dude. Leopard dude was driving me crazy. The f do you mean you’re going to let the dude go. I kept thinking “bREak his bones” when ever the leopard would see him. Like fuck you dude.

ALSO FL is unrealistic. She has the mentality of a kid right? Cuz she’s never talked to anyone- her voice is gone??? (I’m going to pretend it was from screaming for help? Cuz she had a mom so it wasn’t because no one talked to her) ANYWAYS SO she’s a blanK slate and she gets in bAd BAd scenarios- and she defaults to happy when she’s asked if she’s ok by Leopard? I call bullshit. A girl who was just hurt would not be fucking happy. She’d be dodgy. She’d be uncomfy. She’d lean the fuck away. Yeah, she could pretend she was happy or wtv but she’d still be tense af- especially because no one would have taught her how to hide discomfort. Honestly, if this is the path he’s taking of “I only want her if she’s of use to me” then the only realistic route would be for him to have someone research how to unlock an elf’s potential so he can weaponize her(good route)—- OR HAVE THE REALIZATION THAT PUTTING FL IN NONCON SITUATIONS TRIGGERS HER ANIMAL POWERS AND SUBJECT HER INTO FUCKED UP SCENARIOS JUST TO GET ANIMALS TO REACT(baaad route). And judging by how stupid ML is- both are fucking possible. Otherwise he could go the “breed her to get special babies route” AND THAT SUCKS TOO. BUT NOTHING ABOUT ML SCREAMS “loving” NOR DOES IT HAVE THE FAINTEST AMOUNT OF WIGGLE ROOM FOR IT TO EXIST. a dude like that does nOT make for a good ML. Leopard is a way better candidate and he also sucks- but at least Leopard has a fucking motive( as in his natural instinct to love her scent and sniff her). leopard keeps pushing for ML to give her to him and ML gives in. Why not? He doesn’t give a f- about FL and besides, best outcome he gets an elf beast hybrid, worst outcome a new body to dispose. Course ML isn’t about to let people do shit for free so he gives Leopard FL on the condition that he find a way to unlock her powers. Leopard and FL go to his room. Leopard apologizes for ML’s tactless behavior but says “he means well”, gives a long speech about how cool ML is and all his achievemts plus back story to why ML is how he is and how the two met. Obviously he’s talking about all this while he bathes her. While washing her arm he stops for a moment and presses her wrist to his nose, taking in the scent. She doesn’t smell like dirt.. she smells good. Real good.. after a second(or fifty) of him smelling her he realizes she’s been staring at him and Leopard gets a lil embarassed and washes the area. “Oh! Sorry. You smell nice. Don’t worry I’m not going to do anything. Beast men and soldiers are totally cool with nudity, no biggie. I promise I won’t /eat/ you”. FL doesn’t understand why nudity would mean being eaten but she doesn’t feel like she’s in danger. She does feel a little warm from watching the way he kissed her wrist but she dismisses it as maybe she’s just happy because it’s her first time anyone talked to her in a while. FL smiles and shakes her head, mouthing out “ok! I trust you! I probably don’t taste good. The maids said I was all bones.” Leopard doesn’t know how to reply to her words at all. On one hand he wants to say she’d probably taste amazing, but he didn’t want to have to explain what he was refering to.. then there was the comment about bones. A pampered girl wouldn’t have servants talking about her that way. He chooses to leave it be and instead goes to scrubbing her head, talking about how he learned the technique from family. Beast men are very family oriented. His grandma taught him a recipient for fattening people up, and he plans on using it to get her to a healthy weighf. “Ok but don’t eat me”, she mouthes and he finds himself laughing. It’s her first joke. Leopard brushed her wet bangs aside and kisses her forehead, feeling at ease for the first time in god knows how long. “Hey.. be my pet..” FL doesn’t understand but she feels warm again, warm and safe. “Ok..” Cue FL asking his designated maids about what things their pets do to help cure their stress and a number of misunderstandings later, they’re both face to face, in bed Leopard towering over her blushing, breath ragged as his fists ball up against the sheets. “Are you aware of what you just did…” FL feels warm and tingly, but safe.. she nods her head, mouthing out the word “lick”. “Lick what,” Leopard growls. “Lick your neck..” she mouths. “Why,” he lowers his voice, dipping his lips close to her ear. FL lead shivers turning her head away but he moves her chin so she’s facing him again. “Don’t look away, I need to read your lips”, Leopard can feel his instincts threatening to take over but she’s to precious. He lets out a low growl instead, gaze strictly on her lips. He wanted to bite them. Bite and lick them. “Mate..” she mouthed, covering her eyes but not her lips. “I heard you saying you wanted to mate.. and I was told beast men lick each other…” fuck. Leopard’s fangs cut into his bottom lip as he resisted his cute pet’s clumsy confession. “That’s not..” he dipped his head back to her neck, brushing his nose against her ear. Leopard swallowed thickly as her scent began to over power him. She smelled so fucking good.. “are you sure?,” he whispered lowly, kissing the area beneath her ear. FL nodded her head, tensing at the feel of his breath on her skin with a high gasp of her own. “I cant be as gentle as you deserve, pet.. but I promise it’ll feel, so..” he kisses her jawline, carefully moving her hands away from her eyes and bringing them to his mouth, tongue brushing against her wrist as he tastes her skin for the first time and leave a sweet little bite.. “…fucking sweet..” leopard kisses the new marking and trails his kisses down her arm, FL blushing madly as she takes in the site. God damn it, he never said he wanted to mate. He said he wanted a mate/friend. He was complaining about not having enough friends who wanted to hear him gush about FL- but this was so much better.
