Man I remember the days when I used to scanlate a lot of bl manga and doujinshi.... even bought my own raws.... but then this one doujinka found out about it and harassed the fck outta me in stopping it, even made a collage outta my face, even threatened me to pay with money. yes, they found my public facebook profile. It was a very traumatizing experience that my passion for scanlating has stopped. Thats also why I’m so thankful for the fan scanlators and the uploaders for giving us manga to read here.
But yeah anyway, if you want to do translation job, why not try doing legal stuff like apply in those localization jobs? Amimaru, for example.

Just imagine having this site closing for good. Scanlating was a hobby but it became my world but it came all crashing down one day coz someone snitched to the artist. So yeah pretty much. Idk about manga or webtoon artists but doujinshi artist are scary. Imagine going on a comic convention and have your name in the banned list.

The author of blind ply from lzhin a manhus did the EXACT SAME sh*t with a 14-15 yo girl who uploaded the author work in illegal sites. They were so mad that they did WITCH HUNT

The artist kept harrasing me in me emails that I just deleted my email, my facebook, even my social media. I pretty much went into hiding lol Well at least it was just me that experienced it and not everyone in my scanlation group, so I guess it’s fine. I just had to sacrifice my mentality for it (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

It’s chikaya. They do a lot of TodoDeku dj from MHA. Their art is gorgeous tho haha I’m still contemplating burning all the djs I bought from the artist but nah I’m too lazy

So I wanna try doing some translation job, but I don't know where to get any manga/manhua/manhwa raws but of course the translation job that I'm talking about just for my own entertainment (to fill up my free time), like I'm not going to upload those anywhere. It's just I'm on my semester break right now, so I'm feeling kinda bored (づ￣ ³￣)づ
