This ending has been kind of a letdown

I liked this way more in the beginning, it had a lot of potential. I’m gonna rant so feel free to ignore it ( ̄∀ ̄)

Why does everyone take the prophecy at face value anyways? Aren’t they always supposed to have deep and profound meanings/interpretations? No one until now second guesses it? How is everyone so stupid, especially since the homunculus princess is such an arrogant b*tch?

I don’t get why everyone believes this Bishop guy? You literally have the King, A Saint/Arch Bishop, and a foreign war hero/Duke, who could say nah he’s full of crap and end it there? The Saint/High Priest is a little weird like why can he just declare the Bishop is an apostate or have the church send some kind of inquisitor to investigate/condemn him? The king sucks at his job anyways so he might as well as become a tyrant for the sake of his daughter and just off the Bishop guy, or declare the religion a fraud. Also what has the king been doing since he learned that she wasn’t the “darkness/disaster” he hasn’t done anything to support her/improve her image and he’s not condemning anyone for tarnishing her reputation, and there wasn’t nearly enough retribution against the people who abused her and let her, stole all her funds and let her castle sink to ruins…. They all suck so much, and they honestly haven’t done anything substantial for her to even consider forging them. They just act like awww poor me, you should just accept my apology and call it good.

Oh let’s don’t forget all those gods/angles that biffed her prophecy, and let her rot for like 20 years? They couldn’t have passed it on to a couple other priests? Or sent out another one saying the Bishop is dark and going against god? ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

Like anyone would believe the words of some apprentice priest from 20 years ago, he was probably framed for his friend’s death that received the real prophecy anyways.

Also the guy Rion fights what’s the purpose of him he was so weird?

Also why doesn’t Ashtarte just use her magic, she should literally be one of the strongest if not the strongest? The king and princes already know she’s innocent so if she did cause any havoc they’d cover for her especially since they feel so guilty for being sick dicks and abusive to her. Then she could go to live in the holy kingdom with the saint guy or live with Rion, both kingdoms and guys would welcome her?

Also the homunculus princess just off and gets killed, like what? There was no redemption of revenge route against her, so lame. Also why is the priest allowed to hold onto her body for so long? Like I don’t see him with tons of paladins, his power is mostly religious/political don’t see how that trumps the king so he can’t get his dead “daughter” before the blood is all drains out of her. They are kinda lax and move on pretty quick after she dies and they find out she wasn’t even human…

Rion kinda annoys me a little too, like oh no I have to wait to tell her I like her, and the part where he ignores her when he first returns/arrives in her kingdom? Like he should understand what she’s gone through the most but adds to her anxiety. I feel like this cause her to under value herself and powers, and ends up relying on others when she’s actually supper bad ass and could just swoosh make everyone that has wronged her disappear, and then she could like a life of leisure and luxury literally anywhere she wanted.

She should just take all her people and the people of the sums that she saved and start her own principality/kingdom.

ur so real for this like they can argue and say maybe there were tensions between the church and state and they have their own authorities but like why was he allowed to have the homunculus while both “princesses” were injured they should’ve never let him move her to the church and the priest guy that noticed that her body was rejecting the healing shouldve said something sooner?? like is that not a weird and unusual thing that should raise a lot of concern?
