Hear me out.

Hear me out okay. I don't want any argument for the things that I'm typing since they are purely my own opinion on how I see the character's POV in the story.

1. The MC's Father. Ellime, the Elemental Spirit King of Water. Since the first part of the story, we already hated him right. But to be honest, it isn't entirely his fault for (1) Judith (MC's mother) tricked him into giving him his aura then giving it to the devil then suddenly became pregnant after 10 months, she gave birth then died and her body was taken away by that same devil and (2) he never wanted a child nor wanted to do anything with the child at all, since he is a spirit who lived for soooooo long that the idea of having an offspring was never in his wishlist.
If I were in his place believing that just being with the love of my life, just the two of us, alone in the world is enough then there is no need to do anything to disrupt it, and then suddenly having to find out that the love of my life tricked me and then became pregnant out of nowhere, of course, I'd get mad for the fact she didn't tell me and for the fact that she did it behind my back, Ellime solely believed that the relationship between would never change, since he is a spirit who lived a very long life and Judith, who is a demi-human who is also a 7th class sorcerer and summoner, Ellime would believed that he nd Judith would live for each other for as long as the world ends.

I know that him banishing the MC to the other world was fucked up of him but looked at his point of view. The love of his life died from childbirth and had her body taken away by a devil, then suddenly hearing a baby cry out of nowhere, for a spirit who lived a long life and never wanted to associate themselves with trivial things, to Ellime, that baby (Haein) is the reason of Judith's death so he banished her out of rage. Let's be honest when was the last time we've ever read or watch a story about father abandoning their child for their wife's death.

Clannad(The Mc abandoned his only daughter because of his wife's death)
Your Name(The FL's father abandoned them when she was only a kid because their mother died)
Naruto(Pain's father blames him for his wife's death)
The beast tamed by the villainess(The FL's family especially her father blamed her for his wife's death)
Crowning a Spoiled Prince(The FL, although not the cause still gets blamed for the wife's death)
And heck there is so much more worst father than Ellime than I could count.

He probably never returned to that house he once lived with Judith because he was haunted by the fact he couldn't protect Judith or the fact that he is still mad at her for not telling him her plans. Maybe that's why it took him 17 years to read the letter since he was fumed with anger at the MC's mother. So when he reads the letter, he immediately took in MC and acknowledged her as his genderless child started training her and watching over her, even took pride of her being his child. And then we see many sides of him being an actual not so honest father to her protecting her, helping her, worrying over her, caring for her and even willing to shop with her. The other spirit kings explained that the MC was the first ever offspring of a spirit king to ever existed to the point that even others considered it unbelievable or just plain right not believing at all, since there is no way a spirit could reproduce. So when we read the recent chapters, we see the Ellime is trying his best to understand the concept of being a true father is, he is happy when Haein addressed him as dad, he would watch over her wherever she goes, he would protect her from any harm or any men, he would allow her to hug him and he would get hurt when Haein asked him why he brought her to the world. He wanted to understand but couldn't grasp it because he is new and is alienated by these emotions and with the help of the other spirit kings, one by one, he is able to grasp it. Hopefully, he understand his emotions for Haein as her biological father.

    2. The Mc's Mother, Judith Osbourne, a 7th class sorcerer and summoner. She summoned Ellime and fell in love with him at first sight then they both lived together for many years then suddenly she tricked Ellime into giving her his aura then asked a devil to transfer it into her womb nd then she gets pregnant and gives birth after 10 month and then she dies. Upon continuing reading this book, we see that other than giving Haein life, she is also a woman who changed Ellime, a woman who is courageous and kind to save other demi humans, and a woman who is daughter of an elf and a human. She truly love Ellime and Haein but the problem that I see from her is why can't she allow Ellime to understand her, although I could see why judging from Ellime's character, its just to cruel to do things behind his back then expected that he would understand in the nearer future. Isn't it better to tell the love of your life the truth then to remain being resented at. I love her, I absolutely do love her character as a mother and a woman.

I think so too. I actually don't hate Ellime. Cause if I were on his shoes, I'd be mad too.
