have you tried monster or code geass? they have somewhat similar vibes to death note
D grayman. Highly recommended manga with 250 chapters. It has an anime too (100+ episodes). A bit similar to Bleach. Although chapters update about every 3-4 months now, averaging about 4 chapters a year, give or take.(author health issue)
I have they're awesome my bro loved monster you can actually watch the anime as well on Netflix. Code geass the English dub version and death note have the same voice actor same voice actor for bleach in English
But the manga is better on both
I hope the author gets better yeah Japan is Notorious for taking years to update I have a friend who waited 14 years just to see an update now the author is only updating 3 chapters a year no joke like some fans might not live long enough to see the ending on some manga and people think I'm joking when I say that especially new manga readers

Yeah it's a classic I like psychological genres depending if it's psychological horror mystery or psychological historical. I can only wish some authors would make mangas that are captivating to read like (monster) with a lot of detail which the plot of monster what makes it more scary is that everything in that story can actually happen in the life
And just the fact that nobody had superpowers nobody went to an imaginary world it's more closer to reality that is why people find Johan scary is the fact that someone like Johan can exist in real life, he doesn’t need superpowers, this is the kind of thing I want from authors more realistic stories even if they make it supernatural like death note or code geass but at least something closer. I just wish there was more thought into a story. In detail and deep that will have you thinking, it was so simple yet complex because of the small details and each chapter was chefs kiss beautiful. Sadly most authors do some stupid ecchi/smut /bl/ gl/ type of sh!t
And nothing else I get it it's all about the s*x nothing else (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
