ML is in the wrong for treating her like that. FL is also timid and shy and weak can’t go against the empress dowager
They don’t communicate, they don’t try to show affection much (FL tried but it comes off as not romantic but annoyance from a girl who doesn’t fight back and instead agrees with the enemy to the ML)
ML showed more of his affection to her after she collapsed. Pretty sure ML was crying when he carried her that time when she went after him to clear up the misunderstanding or smth and forced her (I’m guessing the drink was spiked cuz of the flashback and the way ML looked in that chapter) They were FINALLY getting along and shit but that empress had to go and mess it up cuz of her greed. I don’t think ML is cheating but pretending to like that illegitimate bitch to get answers from that ugly red head (no offense to red heads it’s the person and their personality I hate. Not the color of their hair or skin or eyes (sometimes I hate on trashy characters looks even when they look good ;-;))
(No offense to illegitimate kids too, it’s not yalls fault but the parents. Especially the ones who abandon the children and lover, as I said earlier I hate a person from their personality, I deel like I worded this so wrong and that someone is gonna be offended- sorry-.)

I hope in this life they will communicate, not assume shit, and if they both were reborn I hope they talk about it.
Would be great if FL decided to take some time before forgiving him and only forgive him after his actions. They should share their side of the story to each other too.
