Interesting story, it's a pity the update is soooo slow (is it cutrently on publishing?)

I think you're used to translators catching up to something that isn't translated yet, which this was before chapter 18 or something when updates came out about every 3 day, at which point the translation caught up with the original release.

At this point, the update tends to arrive about 1-2 days after the magazine it runs in is released, once per month. It's as up to date as the original release is in Japan and for the most part magazines tend to release once per month in Japan so this is the normal pace.
