I always thought mangas with kids are always heartwarming but this was more on the heartbreaking side. I didn't like how Shouta still competed for Hoshino's affection, didn't like that Daiki thought sensei was Shouta's lover for so long. it irritated me damn. wish Shouta's one-sided love wasn't a big part of the plot here. it felt like Hoshino had to clarify over and over. he shouldn't have to. And the story ended when it barely started the kid's love story. . wish I could see more of Hoshino and Aki.. more. I just read this because I want to know the continuation of his father and Hoshino's story as a lovey-dovey side story here but didn't get that. didn't even get lovey-dovey part for Shouta and Daiki. We only got complexity without the sweet part (the same happened in prequel but still I liked the prequel better)
