Help Needed !!!!!!!!

So i got fried tdy nd didn't finish my biology homework so I was wondering if anyone can answer these two questions for me:
1. Some fungi are considered predatory—they can capture and kill nematodes and other tiny soil organisms. Conduct research to determine how they do this. How is this activity related to the availability of nitrogen?

2. In the absence of oxygen, yeast ferment sugar to obtain energy. This process releases carbon dioxide gas and ethanol (an alcohol). How do humans take advantage of this process in the manufacturing of foods and beverages?

Im begging somone pls help my dumb ass

    I second the beer answer.
    As for question 1:
    a) how they do it: capturing: the fungi usually has branching filaments which have some sticky/adhesive-like traps on them. Those sticky stuff catch the small organisms and stops them from being able to move. killing: the molecules are first broken down into smaller pieces by the enzymes that the fungi uses, then it's absorbed by the fungal cells.
b)nitrogen is quite literally essential for fungal growth, so that's how its related to all that. so more nitrogen accessed by preying on those organisms = more fungal growth.
Disclaimer; I am not a bio major anymore, so if anything is wrong or not fully true, I do not take responsibility for it Hope you do well in ur bio class tho!

    Why do I exist ??? February 27, 2024 6:39 am

    For the 2nd question
Yeast ( Baker's yeast) it's used in the production of all kinds of bread all over the world. Humans take advantage of release of CO2 from the inside of the bread helps make it soft and spongy as it leaves small air pores(chanels) on the bread while being released into the atmosphere.

+ I'm still in high school.
I'm pretty sure this info is creadeble but idk know if this the level of search you are expected to do.
Also I know this common knowledge but still wanted to share
