You have considered everything except the blood relations which is the most important, it's still not incest. No matter how you perceive it, A and Yu has 0 blood relationship. You can be raised in the same house, be recognized as family, you will still have 0 blood relations. A friend can be recognized as family in a household mind you.

That's why I used quotation marks, also how is Yu the weird one, he knows he is not part of the family, so why should he perceive A as his full sibling.
