Came back

Okay I remember reading/watching this series when I was younger and I was on momo’s side the entire time. But years later, maturing is realizing that momo also had issues too. Every single one of these characters are flawed. We somehow overlooked everything momo did because she’s the main character. If this were a story that came out during this time, people would be calling her out for being exactly like every other indecisive mc that leads on both boys and it’s the truth. No one ever says anything about momo.

Saw had issues and it was clear both boys had issues. In momo’s case she liked two boys and found it hard to choose. The sequel went similar to how the first part ended. She was with kairi, she got mad at kairi, got together with toji, left toji, and got back together with kairi. Literally the exact same fight and instead of kairi being in danger in the ocean, it was momo in the sequel. Lmao the author wanted to do it again. You realize that even if momo was valid for feeling upset, she was EXTREMELY quick to switch boys. People are upset that kairi was like “I love misao, she’s important to me.” But it’s obvious he doesn’t love misao in that way anymore and only loves momo, by the way he quickly rejected her. Whereas people didn’t even care that momo said the same thing, “I love toji, toji is the man I loved.” Within her thoughts and even tried to get with him. Toji himself tried to rekindle their relationship but clearly he no longer loves momo as much as he did before. He still keeps the ring on from his wife, and momo is no longer his priority nor did he try to help when hearing she was in danger and only watched.
