I don't think he's dead, you can see that he has found out that the steel from the airplane doesn't brake with gunshot, so he used it as a shield when Shell shot him, and then Reign asked Shell for the main ingredient for the perfume, which I suppose is Eric's pheromones
huh i've always thought he was alive? i didn't know ppl thought he's dead bcs he told shell to shoot at the steel plate or whatever he had in front of his chest, and then eric played dead
