Girl chill, the art is subjective. Some people like you my think it’s ugly, others will think it’s absolutely beautiful. This is a pretty popular art style, so you’re actually a minority. People are going to defend it because your opinion and phrasing was rather extreme. You could have said that you didn’t like how it looks and no one would be that angry. In addition you didn’t offer criticism, just insults. I'm an artist too, and this just rubs me the wrong way. When I leave negative comments about art it’s most often about sth like perspective being messed up and shading wrong, not insults.
