I love this story so much since it has the perfect tension and enemies to lovers romance. Overall I will definitely read this again.
Now I’ll get onto the critiques:
The first season was by far my favorite. This is where ALL the tension was best. The second season, was nice but it definitely has a completely different feel than the first. The reason may be the change in art style as well as the pacing of the story. The second season feels as if we’re speed running through everything and resolving everything too easily. The art seems to be more refined? The 2nd season art is certainly pretty but I feel like the art definitely follows the most basic manhwa art style you can find anywhere. The art seems cleaner but that can also feel as if it’s been simplified. I preferred the 1st seasons art since it looks like it has a lot more vibrance, and the 2nd season colors seem a bit pale. There were more unique styles in the 1st season art especially when it came to the ML, the way the artist drew his hair, his light brown hair color, how the artist actually made him look older than the FL, the expressions they drew on him that made the tension scenes so much better. The art in the 2nd season seems more dim and bland in comparison as well as the expressions not hitting the same.
As well as we started the 2nd season with not as much tension and it immediately looked like they were already dating after sleeping together once. They were suddenly super open and affectionate with each other and it feels like we lost that tension or fire between them. It was too easy. Anyways that was all my critiques, and despite it looking like I’m complaining so much- don’t get me wrong, I still really love this story. Those are just things I wanted to point out and see if there could’ve been improvement to have made this story even more superior. This was no hate as I think the overall story was good, I just preferred the 1st season more.
