I don't understand what is the meaning or use of the place holder hehe
It's prevention so others don't upload lower quality chapters especially mtl ones and get the whole order messed up.

Me, too! For those who don’t know, a place holder will NEVER be notified as a new chapter. Thehuman who does quality uploads, holds the spot after they upload a chapter. The trash chapters we have all dealt with that ruin our stories are auto uploads. So, this keeps continuity and quality
Should have said the trash uploads are 90% auto uploads that ruin everything. Here and there you get small groups that do decent jobs at TLs and I appreciate that.
