To me it seems like the author is like so many isekai authors playing into the semi-incest and over-jealous mc.
I'm enjoying their relationship, but I don't like how Kardi got jealous over her BROTHER. There is cute jealousy, and then there is this. I get why he gets over over Nobert, but Kardi really ought to respect the relationship between brother and sister.
