im not sure about what my vote went like or dislike. but i think u may look at it wrongly. like yes, their relationship is not physical, but saying that Taichi doesn’t give fully himself to him is really a bad statement in my opinion. yes, sure he is not being able to satisfy his physical needs, but mentally he has always been there for him and we have seen it from the start to the end, he has always loved Kohei and we can see Taichi really satisfied with him, and he don’t seem to mind teaching him or take it slow physically. and he doesn’t mind being with him and he felt loved by him, and i think that’s what it matters.
anyway that’s just my ranting; have a great dayy :)
I agree they have an emotional connection but the physical part is just slow
As you said they never loved other men before so it's kinda normal that their physical connection will be slow. It's not like kohei is wanting to be more physical and taichi is not giving him that. That part never came and they both have their things going on and the physical part barely plays any role in a shounen ai story
You cant judge the depth of someone's feelings based on what you perceive as physical reluctance. It was made very clear that although Kohei fell in love first, Taichi loves him too and its obvious he does enjoy being touched, hugged and kiss. Although he comes off as all blustery and loud, its obvious he is shy when it comes to physical relations and it will take time. MM relationship isnt easy to navigate and they are both young and trying their best to fulfill each other's needs. Sorry but I feel this is just such a discredit to Taichi when by reading, its so obvious Taichi loves just as deep and hard as Kohei.
Please correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like Kohei deserves more than what Taichi is able to give him. It’s not that a relationship has to be physical but I feel like Taichi is leading Kohei on and he will never be able to fully give himself to him. Which is completely understanding because they both never dated other men, but even when they’re together alone, Taichi is still reluctant even to be hugged by Kohei. And I feel Kohei wants and deserves so much more than that! I don’t think Taichi is ready to date men and he’s just preventing Kohei from finding a fulfilling relationship.
And no I don’t write this because I wanted to see them fuck each other, I really loved the story and the art, the depth of all characters and how much each of them matter to the plot, I just feel like Taichi can’t give his all to this relationship.
