Maybe Real Giselle swaped souls with MC and the body changing is a slow affter effect? Maybe Real Giselle is loving modern life and will slowly get their own beauty and looks back as their soul adjusts to the Modern Body?

ngl but i dont really like how giselle is changing appearance.. it just makes me feel bad for the og giselle, like yes she was a bad person but somebody else already took over her BODY but now it’s changing as well?? first the eyelids and now the hair.. giselle will just disappear as a whole :(( idk i don’t like it cuz it makes it seem like she wasn’t a real person kinda? would just prefer if mc didn’t change or if they could just make her return to her original body but in this world instead. might seem unreasonable to some of y’all and u probably won’t agree and just think that this is a refreshing thing to happen to mc but yah idk it just feels so iffy to me
