"its reality for her" I agree that's what she thinks, but I also think that the author is trying to show, with Eclis/Reynolds deviation from the plot, is that they are humans in their reality, which is now her reality.
Idk how to explain well, but her refusing to treating them like people, bc they're not from her universe is like walking into someone else's home and telling them their house isn't the same as yours, so its not a house.
I think she has her guard up not to fall in love with anyone but thats where the blonde mf comes as u say everybody dissapoints her cause thats the point of the whole story being a villain she acts fake to impress everyone but sometimes her way of methods doesnt work everybody could see through her in some scenes but yeah they are bitches
Shes such a villain fr ik her life is hard but she didnt even treat him like a human being which is sad thats why she ended up in this situation
